F1 Academy: what is it?
The F1 Academy is an exclusively female category, created in 2022 by Formula 1 itself.
The debut of this category took place in 2023, under the majestic management of Susie Wolff - our forever wag, but also a former pilot.
The F1 Academy aims for a lighter transition from karting to single-seaters, and is currently in its third season.
